Summer fun…
We have had a fun summer. Starting with our family trip to Disney, swim lessons, camp for Natalie, 4th of July picnic, VBS, whew it has been busy. I thought I would share some photos.
The next set of pictures are from VBS. Phoebe had a blast and learned so much about Jesus. The pictures are of my friend Kimmie. She was in charge of the penny war. They gave the kids a goal and if they reached the goal the kids got to make Kimmie and some others into human ice cream sundaes! Well, when you give a bunch of kids that kind of challenge bet your bottom they are stocking up on toppings for the sundaes. The kids raised around $2200 for the week. That is amazing. The money is going to missionaries in Australia.

This is so random, but I was looking on Beth Moore’s blog, saw your response to “what were your dreams”, realized you were from Kentucky and looked at your blog. I started looking at the pictures and realized, you are Natalie’s mom!
Now you are asking, “Who is this?” Well, I am Mrs. Carney at Erpenbeck. Natalie is in my homeroom this year. (You are not supposed to know this yet, but will find out soon enough!) I’m so excited to know that you are a Christian and can’t wait to work with you and your daughter this year.

Hi Mrs. Carney,
I am so glad to “meet” you and know you are a Christian. God is so awesome and by reading this I stand amazed. He must have great plans in store for Natalie this year. He knew where to place her. I look forward to meeting you at orientation. Love to hear you enjoy Beth Moore . I just adore her and her teaching. Know that I will pray for you and your class this year! I am living my dream and Natalie is such a joy and blessing. Can’t wait for you to meet her and get to know her.
Look forward to meeting you,
Tricia

Hey Tricia,
The pictures are adorable. I especially like the one of our sweet little girls at swim lessons! I’m also ready to get back on a normal schedule after a fun & very busy summer. I can almost smell the scents of fall (apples, cinnamon, pumpkins!) Can’t wait.
